Man Indicted For Murder Of Popular Musician In Hudson Valley
An Ulster County grand jury has indicted an area man for the shooting death of a popular musician and tattoo artist.
Orange County resident, Walter Post Jr., age 26, of Pine Bush, was indicted for the second-degree murder of 29-year-old Michael Hankins of Woodridge, said Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg.
According to District Attorney's Office, it's alleged that in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 11, Post stalked his ex-girlfriend and her home.

Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Busy CT Roadway, Police Say
A man was killed after being hit by a Toyota Avalon along a busy Connecticut roadway.
The incident took place around 12:15 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, in New Haven County in the area of Thomaston Avenue, in Waterbury.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a 60-year-old man who had been struck by the vehicle, said Lt. Robert Davis, of the Waterbury Police.
The man was transported to Waterbury Hospital via ambulance, where he died from injuries sustained from the collision, Davis said.

Man Accused Of Attacking Smoothie Shop Workers In Fairfield County For Son's Allergic Reaction
A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly attacking employees at an area fruit and smoothie shop after his son had an allergic reaction to peanuts and was hospitalized.
James Iannazzo, age 48, of Fairfield, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 22 after Fairfield Police received numerous calls from employees at Robeks, located at 2061 Black Rock Turnpike, reporting a customer throwing things, yelling at employees, and refusing to leave.

Long Island Man Arrested After Threatening Officers With Knives, Police Say
A Long Island man was arrested after allegedly threatening police officers with two knives after being involved in a domestic dispute.
The incident took place around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19 when Southampton Police responded to a call from a woman saying she was involved in a domestic dispute in Hampton Bays.

A Massachusetts man has been was indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with the burning of a restaurant in October.
Worcester County resident Edmond Charrette, aka Edmond Kuhn, age 31, of Princeton, was indicted on Thursday, Jan. 20 on one count of damage and destruction of a building by means of fire.
Charrette will make an initial appearance in federal court in Worcester on Thursday, Jan. 27.

Suffolk County Man Arrested For Assault, Police Say
A Long Island man was arrested following a physical dispute with another man who was injured.
Suffolk County resident Jason Melenciano, age 40, of Riverhead, was arrested around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, following a dispute with another man who received a laceration to his arm, Riverhead Police said.
According to police, Riverhead police responded to a home at 5050 West Main St., for a report of a physical dispute involving residents.
