Fairfield County Crack Dealer Nabbed As He Steps Off Train, Police Say A 67-year-old Fairfield County man was allegedly busted with crack cocaine as he stepped off a train. Moses Williams, of Stamford, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 4, after the Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit received a tip that he would be arriving with drugs, said Captain Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police. Three Hospitalized After Head-On Hampden County Crash During Storm Three people received minor injuries during a head-on crash during a snowstorm in Western Massachusetts. The crash took place in Hampden County around 9:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 7, near the intersection of Converse Street and Rugby Road in Longmeadow. When police arrived on the scene they found one of the vehicles on fire, but an officer was able to extinguish the flames, according to Longmeadow Police.  Three people were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, police said.

Holyoke Man Admits To Distributing Heroin, Crack A Western Massachusetts man faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing heroin and crack cocaine. Hampden County resident Ronny Authier, age 23, of Holyoke, pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution and possession with intent to distribute heroin and one count of distribution and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, the US Attorney's Office said.
