Four Hospitalized After Fire Breaks Out At Nassau County Residence Updated story - 54-Year-Old Man Dies From Injuries Following Nassau County House Fire Four people were hospitalized following a residential fire on Long Island. The fire took place around 6 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 2 on Camp Road in Massapequa at a group residence, the Nassau County Police said. Upon arrival, responders found smoke coming from the second floor. Woman Killed In Single-Vehicle Franklin County Crash A woman was killed and another injured during a single-vehicle crash in Western Massachusetts. It took place around 12:20 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 2, on Route 21 in Franklin County in Bernardston, said the Massachusetts State Police. When troopers arrived on the scene they found a 2015 Cadillac SRX had left the roadway on the right and crashed into a guardrail and then into a line of trees, state police said. Fairfield County Man Busted With Drugs Following Resident Complaints, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested on numerous alleged drug offenses after residents complained to police about his drug dealing. Jose Adames, age 45, of Danbury, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 21, following the execution of search warrants for his body and residence. According to Det. Lt. Covid-19: CT Man Accused Of Faking Positive Test To Avoid Court Appearance A Connecticut man has been arrested and charged with illegally fabricating a positive COVID-19 test notification in order to avoid appearing before a judge at a scheduled hearing. Junior Jumpp, age 31, of Hartford, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 28, and charged with one count each of forgery and fabricating physical evidence, according to the Connecticut State Division of Criminal Justice. Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Armed Robbery Of Shell Station A Fairfield County man was apprehended for an alleged armed robbery of a gas station with help from surveillance video. Torik Baldwin, age 45, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 29, following the robbery at the Fairfield Shell station located at 1139 Post Road. Driver Ejected From Vehicle In Serious I-95 Crash In Fairfield County Connecticut State Police are investigating a crash on I-95 in Fairfield County in which a driver was ejected. The crash took place around 7:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 30 in Fairfield, state police said. According to state police, a Volvo box truck was traveling in the right lane of three on I-95 northbound when it was struck from behind by an Acura MDX.
