Family and friends are mourning the passing of a Northern Westchester teen who drowned in the Delaware River while camping with friends.
Liony Polonia Santos, age 17, of Peekskill, who went missing in the waters on Sunday, July 4, was found by searchers on Wednesday, July 7, in Sullivan County.

Man Wanted For Murder Nabbed During Traffic Stop In Hudson Valley, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man wanted for murder in New Jersey was nabbed by police during a traffic stop that also netted two loaded handguns.
Rockland County resident Jack D. Ramirez, age 20, of Spring Valley, was arrested in Dutchess County on Thursday, July 8 by the City of Poughkeepsie Police.
During the stop, two unlawfully possessed, loaded handguns, both equipped with high-capacity magazines, were recovered, Det. Sgt. Terrence Beam said.
While running his record, police discovered that Ramirez was wanted for intentional murder with a gun in Paterson, New Jersey, Beam said.

Long Island Woman Attacked, Hit In Head With Computer On Lirr , Police Say
A local woman riding on the Long Island Railroad was injured when she was hit in the head with a laptop computer by another rider.
The incident took place around 10:52 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, when Southampton Police responded to the Bridgehampton Train Station for a reported attack.
According to Lt. Susan Ralph, the victim, a Long Island resident, was traveling from the Southampton station to Bridgehampton when she was struck in the head with a laptop computer resulting in physical injury and damage to the computer.
