Coast Guard Rescues Fishermen Near Montauk Three fishermen were rescued off the shore of Long Island by the Coast Guard. The rescue took place around 9:30 p.m., Sunday, June 27 about 72 miles southeast of Montauk.  Coast Guard officials received a VHF radio call from a 44-foot commercial fishing vessel, the Nite Nurse, reporting the vessel was taking on water and sinking. One Killed, Another Injured During Shooting At Park In Westchester, Police Say One man was shot and killed and another injured during an overnight incident in Westchester County.  The two men were found in Sleepy Hollow around 9:30 p.m., Monday, June 28, authorities said. A Sleepy Hollow Police officer patrolling the area of 126 Valley Street and Margotta Court Park heard gunshots, said Police Chief Anthony Bueti. Man Rams Two Cruisers During Multi-County Pursuit Ending In Westchester, Police Say A Connecticut man was arrested by New York State Police for allegedly fleeing officers and ramming two police vehicles in an effort to escape before finally being apprehended in Westchester County.
