ID Released For Northern Westchester Man Found Dead After Jumping From Bear Mountain Bridge A man found dead after jumping from the Bear Mountain Bridge has been identified by police. Jack J. Murphy, age 69, of Ossining, was found by the Westchester County Police Marine Unit after jumping from the bridge around 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, state police said. CT Man On Stolen Motorcycle Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash, Police Say A 31-year-old Connecticut man allegedly driving a stolen motorcycle at a high rate of speed was killed after crashing with another vehicle. The crash took place around 12:14 a.m., Wednesday, June 30 in the area of 1565 Main St., in Waterbury, said Sgt. Robert Davis. Construction Worker Seriously Injured After Fall At Long Island Work Site A construction worker was seriously injured at a Long Island construction site after falling into a 14-foot hole. The incident took place around 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, at the site located at 1175 Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station, said the Suffolk County Police. Sixth Squad detectives said the hole was approximately four feet by four feet and the man dropped 14 feet. Woman Accused Of Violating Protective Order In Fairfield County A Fairfield County woman was arrested for violation of a protective order after being stopped for having an invalid license plate.
