Covid-19: Paramedics Will Start Making Vaccine House Calls In Parts Of Northern Westchester The Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be delivering some 200 doses of Moderna vaccine to distribute to residents 18 and older over the course of the next three weeks.  Appointments will be available at 8 Clinton Avenue, Ossining, at the paramedic headquarters during the "pop-up" vaccine clinics.  In addition, the department will also make house calls for homebound as well as to help people feel more comfortable getting their first dose. Man Shot In Knee In Fairfield County Parking Lot, Police Say A man suffered a gunshot wound to the knee during the early morning hours. The incident took place just after midnight on Tuesday, May 4, in the 2000th Block of Main Street in a parking lot, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. The man was transported to St Vincent’s Medical Center with reported non-life-threatening injuries, Appleby said. CT State Troopers Rescue Kidnapping Victim During Traffic Stop, Police Say Connecticut State Police searching for a robbery suspect, saved a kidnapping victim when they stopped the vehicle. The incident took place around 2:42 p.m., Monday, May 3, when troopers assigned to Bridgeport, were contacted by Bethlehem Police Department in Pennsylvania and advised of a robbery suspect traveling through Connecticut. Troopers were able to quickly locate the vehicle on Route 15 and conducted a traffic stop. Chicopee’s regional vaccination at the Castle of Knights at 1599 Memorial Drive will begin offering the Moderna vaccine on Tuesday, May 4.
