Good Samaritan Killed In Hit-Run While Assisting Disabled Car: Philly PD A 24-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run on Sunday night, Nov. 12, while he was stopped to help another driver, according to Philadelphia police.  It happened on the 4800 block of Whitaker Avenue around 6 p.m., the department said. Ezequiel Morales was walking back to his car when he was hit by a white van that fled the scene.  Morales was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center and pronounced dead just before 6:30 p.m., police said.  NBC10 Philadelphia reported that the van was later found abandoned nearby.  The crash remains under investigation, said PPD.&…

Lehigh Coroner Seeks Family Of Woman Found In Tent Authorities are searching for the next of kin for a woman who died in Allentown last week.  Desiree Ann Serrano was found dead in a tent on the 300 block of West Gordon Street on Friday afternoon, Nov. 10, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. West Chester Man Attacked His Uber Driver: Authorities A West Chester man accused of attacking his Uber driver early Friday morning now faces criminal charges, say borough police.  Investigators say Samuel A. Makowski assaulted the driver both inside and outside the car on the 500 block of South High Street around 2 a.m. Makowski, 19, is charged with strangulation, aggravated assault, simple assault, and related counts, the department said.  He was remanded to the Chester County lockup in lieu of his $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear before a judge on Nov. 21, according to state court records.
