Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Fatal Crash: 24-Year-Old Struck By SUV, Car On CT Roadway A man fleeing the scene of a crash was killed after being struck by two vehicles on a busy Connecticut roadway overnight, according to authorities. It happened just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15 in Naugatuck. Fatal Fall: 26-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Glen Cove A worker has been identified after a fatal fall on Long Island. It happened just before noontime on Friday, April 14 in Glen Cove at a commercial building located at 40 Garvies Point Road, according to Nassau County Police. Massive Brush Fire: Busy Roadway In Hudson Valley To Remain Closed At Least 24 Hours A busy roadway in the region will be closed for at least 24 more hours after a massive brush fire that drew responders from departments in four counties. Fatal Crash: Car Slams Into Tree In Rocky Point A Long Island man was killed after his car crashed into a tree. The man, a 37-year-old, was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima when the incident happened on Miller Place/Yaphank Road in Rocky Point at approximately 8:15 a.m. Friday, April 14. Found: 28-Year-Old Hudson Valley Mother Of 3 Had Been Missing Since July A 28-year-old Hudson Valley woman who went missing nine-and-a-half months ago has been found. Orange County resident Heather Callas, of Port Jervis, a mother of three who was reported missing Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, by her mother, had not been seen or heard from since Saturday, July 2.
