Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Three Long Island Store Clerks Charged With Selling Alcohol, Vape Products To Minors Three Long Island store workers have been charged for selling alcohol and/or vape products to minors, police said. In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol and vapes to minors during which five businesses were checked for compliance with the law. Teen Charged After Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight On Busy Long Island Roadway A suspect has been apprehended after a man was fatally shot in broad daylight on a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened Wednesday, March 24 at approximately 3:35 p.m. in Port Jefferson. Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot in front of 122 Main Street. New Storm System Will Bring Heavy Rain, Gusty Winds With Thunderstorms Possible The second half of the weekend will see a storm system sweep through that will bring a new round of rainfall and gusty winds as well as possible thunderstorms. It will arrive late Sunday morning, March 28. Ahead of the storm, there will be patchy fog arriving around 3 a.m. and continuing until around noontime on Sunday. Alert Issued For Missing Long Island 15-Year-Old A Long Island girl has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Mykenzie McMillan, age 15, was last seen at 12:10 a.m. on Friday, March 26, leaving her Nesconset home on foot, said Suffolk County Police, who have issued a Silver Alert, noting she may be suicidal. Kittiphon "Kit" Ponchareon was a graduate of Ossining High School who served in the Marine Corps for four years. Woman Killed After Being Struck By Car While Attempting To Cross Busy Long Island Roadway A woman was killed after being struck by a car while attempting to cross a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened just before 8:45 a.m. Friday, March 26 in West Babylon. Hudson Valley Woman Who Went Missing In March Has Been Located A 29-year-old woman who went missing in the Hudson Valley more than three months ago has been located. Alicia M.
