Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Neighborhood Complaints Lead To Arrest Of Alleged Fentanyl Dealer Following complaints from concerned citizens, officers conducting surveillance at a Massachusetts intersection arrested a man for allegedly trafficking Fentanyl. The officers from the Worcester Police Department Neighborhood Response Team were conducting surveillance in the area of Pleasant and Russell Street just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17 after complaints of drug dealing. Covid-19: Founder, CEO Of National Restaurant Chain Dies At Age 65 The founder and chief executive officer of a national restaurant chain died by suicide amid a battle with COVID-19-related symptoms, the company announced. Kent Taylor, who launched Texas Roadhouse in 1993, was 65 years old. The symptoms included severe tinnitus, or ringing in the ear, and his suffering had increased in recent days, the company, Texas Roadhouse, announced in a statement sent to CNN. Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car In Front Of His Long Island Home A Long Island man suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car in front of his house overnight, according to police. John P. Jones, age 55, was in the roadway in front of the home in Selden, located on Dare Road, when he was struck by a northbound 2016 Hyundai sedan at approximately 9:45 p.m. Saturday, March 20, Suffolk County Police said. Jones was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. The driver of the Hyundai, Christa Henselder, age 79, of Selden, was not injured. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Man Found Guilty Of Raping, Kidnapping Woman At Massachusetts Motel A 41-year-old man has been convicted of kidnapping and raping a woman at a motel in Shrewsbury after a jury-waived trial in Worcester Superior Court. Edward Lacey of Worcester was found guilty on Friday, March 19 of kidnapping, two counts of rape, three counts of indecent assault and battery, strangulation, threat to commit a crime, and assault and battery. Covid-19: First Case Of Highly Contagious Brazil Strain Confirmed In NY The first case of the highly contagious COVID-19 Brazilian variant has been confirmed in a New York State resident.
