Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Hyde Park Man Nabbed After Narcotics Investigation A 54-year-old Hyde Park intended to sell more 100 Oxycodone pills found in his possession following a narcotics investigation by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) in the conjunction with the Town of Hyde Park Police Department. David Seymour of North Quaker Lane was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with the intent to sell, a Class B Felony. Chestnut Ridge Teen, New City Man Nabbed In DWI Crackdown Two Rockland residents are facing charges following a DWI Crackdown Detail conducted Thanksgiving Eve by the Ramapo Police Department, in conjunction with several other Rockland County agencies.The detail is designed to provide numerous officers throughout Rockland County whose sole purpose is DWI enforcement. A 16-year-old man from Chestnut Ridge was found drinking alcohol in a running vehicle while parked in a Monsey Parking lot after hours. Video Released Of Car In Hit-Run Of 7-Year-Old In Congers Have you seen it?The Clarkstown Police Department has released a video including images of the black vehicle wanted in connection with Tuesday morning's hit-and-run in which a child was injured in Congers. The 7-year-old was rushed to the hospital after being injured after the incident which occurred at approximately 8:05 a.m. at the intersection of Lakewood Drive and Lakeland Avenue in Congers. Collin David Sucato Of Wappingers Falls Dies At 24 Collin David Sucato, a lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 18 at his home in Wappingers Falls. He was 24. He was born in Poughkeepsie on Jan. 8, 1993. He was the son of James Sucato and Joan McPhee Sucato. Survivors include his father James Sucato, his brother Andrew J. Sucato, and sister Sarah Maloy. Yorktown Football Team Falls In First State Final Since 1995 Making its first state-title game appearance since 1995, the Yorktown High School football team came up short Friday afternoon, falling to unbeaten Section 6 champion West Seneca 14-6 in the Class A title game at Syracuse University's Carrier Dome. Yorktown (13-1) led 6-0 after the first quarter on a 3-yard touchdown run by Brett Makar midway through the period, ending a drive in which Makar had 12 carries. The extra-point kick was blocked. Route 6 Reopens Following Accident This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 6 near the Cortlandt Town Center has reopened after an accident earlier Friday afternoon, but residual delays persisted for much of the afternoon. Route 6 westbound traffic had been diverted onto Lexington Avenue during the closure, which lasted more than an hour. State Police were at the scene investigating the incident which occurred near the entrance to the Cortlandt Town Center. Three ambulances and several fire trucks responded to the scene. Bernice Spreckman, Longtime Westchester Legislator, Dies At 82 Bernice Spreckman, a Westchester Legislator who served the county's 14th District for more than 20 years before retiring in 2016, died on Thursday. She was 82. The Republican had won re-election with 56 percent of the vote in 2013, running on a platform of providing and protecting essential services, not increasing the tax levy, preserving the fund balance and facilitating economic growth.
