Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Gusty Winds Knock Out Power To Nearly 2,000 In Hudson Valley Gusty winds have resulted in numerous reports of downed tree limbs throughout the area, with 1,967 customers without power early Sunday evening in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess and Orange counties combined. As of 6 p.m. Sunday, 717 residences lost power in Northern Westchester, 377 were without power in Putnam and 402 in Dutchess, according to NYSEG. Teen Killed In Two-Car Crash Near Taconic On-Ramp In Pleasant Valley An 18-year-old was killed in a two-car crash near the on-ramp to Taconic State Parkway off Route 44 in Pleasant Valley Saturday night. The initial investigation suggests an eastbound vehicle on Route 44 made a left hand turn to enter the Taconic State Parkway on-ramp in front of a westbound vehicle, state police said. Dorothea, who lived in LaGrange, was born in Yonkers on Oct, 4, 1984. Services Set For Rockland Sheriff Deputy Killed In Mysterious Shooting Services have been scheduled for the 42-year-old Rockland County Sheriff Deputy killed in a mysterious shooting in Orange County on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Putnam Man Nabbed For Providing Alcohol To Teen Who Was Hospitalized A Putnam man has been arrested after buying alcohol for a teen who was hospitalized with a potentially fatal blood-alcohol content, state police said Friday. The 19-year-old victim was taken to Putnam Hospital Center, and found to have a BAC of over 0.4 percent, according to police. An investigation determined that Donte M. Floyd, 19, of Patterson bought alcohol with a fraudulent identification card and then provided the alcohol to the underage victim, police said.
