Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Taconic Ddso Therapist Rhonda Tyler Of Dover Plains Dies At 49 Rhonda L. Tyler, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, died on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Sharon Hospital in Connecticut. She was 49. Rhonda was therapy aide at Taconic Developmental Disabilities Services Offices in Wassaic. Born on May 7, 1968 in Liberty, she was the daughter of Robin Tyler, Sr. and Bonnie Decker. Up To Three Lanes To Close During New TZB Grouting Work Grouting of concrete roadway slabs for the second span of the new Tappan Zee Bridge will require closures of up to three lanes on the New York State Thruway overnight Friday into Saturday. The closures on I-87/I-287 will be southbound/eastbound traffic lanes from Exit 11 (Nyack/South Nyack/Route 9W) to Exit 9 (Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow/Route 9) starting at 9 p.m. Friday. Woman With Westchester Clients Who Faked Being Male Lawyer Sentenced A woman who pretended to be a male parole attorney has been sentenced to prison after swindling tens of thousands of dollars from hundreds of New Yorkers, including state inmates and their families from the Hudson Valley, according to New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Antonia Barrone, also known as Mario Vrendenburg, was sentenced before Albany County Court Judge Honorable Peter A. Serious Crash Ties Up Traffic On Saw Mill River Parkway This story has been updated. There are residual delays on a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway late Friday morning after an earlier crash that led to its closure near the junction of the Taconic State Parkway. I-684, Route 22 Crashes Cause Morning Delays This story has been updated. It was a slow go for many motorists in the area Thursday morning with delays on two of the most traveled roadways. A crash that initially blocked two lanes on northbound I-684 at Route 120 in Purchase (Exit 2), causing gridlock to I-287 and also rubbernecking delays on the southbound side. There was stop-and-go traffic on southbound Route 22 after a serious crash near the Putnam/Northern Westchester border at Route 6/East Main Street and stop-and-go traffic back to I-84.

Duo Caught With Crack, Loaded Handgun In Taconic Stop, Police Say A traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway in Wappinger resulted in the arrests of two men on multiple charges. Subsequent to the stop on Sunday, Nov. 12, the driver Jacob Alvarez, 25, of Brooklyn was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said. Alvarez and 23-year-old Matthew Santiago of Queens possessed a loaded handgun, crack cocaine, a scale, and packaging materials, according to state police. Westchester Bank Worker Faces Federal Child Porn Charges A 46-year-old bank employee from Westchester is facing up to 20 years in prison after thousands of images containing child pornography were found at his home, Joon H. Kim, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Angel M. No Bail Set For Suspect In Murder Of North Salem Socialite The former day laborer charged in the bludgeoning death of an 83-year-old socialite on a sprawling 300-acre estate that shocked the bucolic town of North Salem and the area returned to court on Tuesday.
