Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Rabid Fox Attacks Person, Two Dogs In North Salem The Westchester County Department of Health is issuing a rabies alert to residents who may have had contact with a rabid gray fox in the vicinity of Vail Lane in North Salem on or before Saturday, Sept.16. The rabid fox was captured and submitted for rabies testing on Sept. 16 after displaying highly aggressive behavior towards people and other animals. The fox was confirmed positive for rabies on Tuesday, Sept. 19. Crash Involving Overturned Truck Causes I-95 Delays This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of I-95 in Westchester on Wednesday afternoon after a crash involving a tractor-trailer and box truck, which overturned. Two northbound lanes were initially blocked at Boston Post Road (Exit 20) with stopped traffic at the scene and stop-and-go delays to Playland Parkway (Exit 19) following the crash, which occurred shortly before 2 p.m.

Number Of Westchester Towns In Top 100 Best To Live List May Surprise You Money Magazine has released its Top 100 list of places to live in the nation, and the number of municipalities in the Hudson Valley, and, in fact, New York, may come as a surprise. That's because the number is zero. To add insult to injury, a town called Pelham was selected 98th best. But it's located in Alabama, not Southern Westchester. Will Hurricane Maria Affect Westchester After Slamming Puerto Rico? This story has been updated. Hurricane Maria will take a path somewhat similar to Jose and may be a concern next week for the East Coast after it slams Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands the next few days. Packing 155 mph winds, Maria was just two mph short of Category 5 status when it made landfall on the southeastern coast of Puerto Rico early Wednesday morning. Missing Monsey Man Found In Airmont Update: The 93-year-old Monsey man who went missing on Sunday has been located in Airmont, Ramapo Police said early Monday afternoon. Man Charged With Endangering Welfare Of Child In Dutchess DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A 30-year-old man is behind bars after state police charged him with endangering the welfare of a child in Dutchess. This arrest occurred after troopers were advised of an incident that occurred in a home in the Town of North East. The investigation determined that George T.
