Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Southeast Man Sent To Prison For Burglarizing Route 22 Car Dealership A 24-year-old Putnam man has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of burglarizing a Route 22 car dealership, Putnam County District Attorney Robert Tendy announced Tuesday morning. William J. Gambichler of Southeast drew a sentence of two to four years in state prison on a charge of burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony. Police Officer From Harrison Dies Of 9/11-Related Cancer A 56-year-old retired police officer from Harrison who was one of the responders following the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks died on Saturday just two days before the 16th anniversary of the event from 9-11 related cancer. Walter Mallinson was a K-9 officer with the Harrison Police Department and an avid fisherman. He was the husband of Patricia (nee Powell), father of Trooper Sean P. Woman Behind Bars After I-84 Southeast Stop Results In Drug Charges A 34-year-old woman stopped for moving out of her lane unsafely on I-84 in Southeast on Friday is now behind bars, facing multiple drugs charges, according to New York State Police. Troopers, who stopped Jennifer K. Satallante of Brookfield, Conn., say they detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. They then discovered she had about 3.95 grams of marijuana and paper tabs of LSD. Satallante was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (a Class C felony) and unlawful possession of marijuana, a Violation. Seamstress Serving Time In Bedford Hills For Prison Break Denied Parole The former prison seamstress who helped two convicted murderers escape from an upstate prison in a highly publicized event has been denied parole a second time and must remain behind bars at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Northern Westchester. Sports Facility At Former IBM Campus Will Be One Of World's Largest Domes The massive new sports facility opening on the former IBM campus in Fishkill will be one of the world's largest domes, according to Time Magazine.
