Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

John F. Murray, Longtime New Rochelle Resident, 42 John F. Murray, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on Wednesday, Sept. 13. He was 42. John was born on April 4, 1975 in Bronxville to the late John D. and Carol (Knapp) Murray. He is survived by his two brothers James Murray and his wife Jane and Edward Murray; his niece Tara and his nephew Danny and his beloved dogs Rooney and Princess. Visiting will be Friday, Sept. 15 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Interment will be private.

ID Released For Man Killed In Crash That Caused I-95 Closure A 28-year-old  man was killed early Thursday night when his motorcycle crash on a stretch of  I-95 in Rye, leading to the closure of all lanes for approximately an hour.State police said they were called to the scene near the I-287 junction at about 7 p.m. Investigation at the scene revealed that Angus Y. Chu of Flushing in Queens was operating a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on I-95 when he lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected, state police said. I-95 Near I-287 Reopens After Fatal Crash Causes Closure Click here for an updated story: ID Released For Man Killed In Crash That Caused I-95 Closure Earlier report: A stretch of southbound I-95 in Westchester has now reopened after a fatal crash closed all three lanes Thursday evening. A motorcycle was involved in the crash, which occurred in Rye, state police said. The crash occurred between Exit I-287 (Exit 21) and Playland Parkway (Exit 19) with traffic backed up to the Connecticut border.
