Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Missing Dutchess Girl Found Safe Update: State police reported Thursday that a teen who went missing last month near Arlington High School has been found and is safe. Elise L. Tra of Beekman was located Wednesday, police said. Kayakers Pulled To Safety Along Hudson River Two kayakers who were stuck in mud in shallow waters in a marsh along the Hudson were pulled to safety early Saturday evening near Piermont. Emergency responders, including the Nyack, Piermont and Sparkill fire departments, called for assistance from the NYPD's aviation team, who used a basket to return the kayakers and one fire department diver to land at the Goswick Pavilion. No one was injured in the incident near Tallman Mountain State Park.

Route 6 'Birdhouse Man' David Robinson, 82, Somers Native Somers native David C. Robinson, formerly of Ossining, died July 19, 2017, after a long illness. He was 82. Latest Taconic State Parkway Detail Results In 88 Tickets Being Issued A total of 88 tickets were doled out by state point in the latest occupant safety enforcement details held Saturday at the FDR State Park entrance off of the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown. Plane Operated By Westchester Air Service Goes Down In East River A small plane operated by a Westchester-based air service bound for the Hamptons plunged into the East River seconds after takeoff near the 23rd Street Pier on Friday evening. Nine passengers and a captain aboard the single-engine Cessna were rescued after the mechanical failure, which is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board, the New York Daily News reported. Car Slams Into Gas Pump At Hutchinson River Parkway Mobil Station WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A man was hospitalized Friday afternoon after crashing his car into a gas pump at the Mobil Station near Exit 25 on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Mamaroneck.
