Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Anticipate Delays: I-684 Lane, Saw Mill Ramp Closures Announced Motorists are advised that the right lane on a stretch of southbound Interstate 684 will be closed on Saturday, April 8. The closure, between Exit 6 (Route 35) and Exit 5 (Saw Mill River Parkway South), will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting. In addition, the ramp to the Saw Mill River Parkway southbound is expected to be closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured onto Route 35. Lane Closures Scheduled On I-87 Near TZB For Lane Realignment Work Southbound/eastbound traffic lanes on the New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287) in South Nyack, just over the Tappan Zee Bridge will be realigned. The work, near Exit 10 (Nyack /South Nyack/Route 9W) will occur during the overnight of Wednesday, April 12. The lanes will be shifted approximately 30 feet south, allowing Tappan Zee Constructors to perform drainage work in the area and prepare for future operations.
