Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The crash, which occurred at 7:15 a.m., occurred at Underhill Avenue in Yorktown with stopped traffic at the scene and stop-and-go delays to Franklin D Roosevelt State Park before being cleared by 8:15 a.m. Minor injuries were reported. A crash that initially blocked three of four lanes, causing delays on a stretch of the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway, has moved to the shoulder of the road on Monday morning. The crash, which occurred around 7:30 a.m., occurred at Webster Avenue (Exit 16) with traffic backed up to Pelhamdale Avenue (Exit 14). It moved to the shoulder by around 8:15 a.m.

Man Found Dead At Glen Island Yacht Club Was Longtime Manager NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The name of the man whose body was pulled by police from the water at Glen Island Yacht Club in New Rochelle Saturday afternoon has been released, according to News 12. Artie Karpf, the longtime manager at the club, was discovered in the water near his houseboat by one of his sons around 2 p.m. as family and friends were at a restaurant for a belated 83rd birthday party, News 12 reported. Karpf turned 83 in December but had put off the celebration was he was battling cancer, the report said.

Man Dies After Jump From Tappan Zee Bridge An unidentified man died after being rushed to Westchester Medical Center after he jumped off the Tappan Zee Bridge late Saturday night, according to authorities.An abandoned car was reported to be stopped on the mid-span of the bridge on the southbound side at around 10:15 p.m. Westchester and Rockland Fire Department marine units and tugboats were then dispatched, with one of the tugboats locating the man in the water.
