Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Power Restored After Outage In Poughkeepsie This story has been updated. Power has been restored late Saturday evening after a large outage was reported in sections of the City of Poughkeepsie Central Business District, Waterfront District and the Southside Saturday evening, according to Central Hudson. Body Pulled From Water At Glen Island Yacht Club This story has been updated. NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The name of the man whose body was pulled by police from the water at Glen Island Yacht Club in New Rochelle Saturday afternoon has been released, according to News 12. Artie Karpf, the longtime manager at the club, was discovered in the water near his houseboat by one of his sons around 2 p.m. as family and friends were at a restaurant for a belated 83rd birthday party, News 12 reported. Karpf turned 83 in December but had put off the celebration was he was battling cancer, the report said.

One Hospitalized After Two-Car Crash In Airmont Shopping Center ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Emergency responders and Ramapo Police officers rushed to the scene of a two-car crash on Friday in a shopping center at the intersection of Route 59 and Brookside Avenue in the Village of Airmont. Police Revive Man Found Unconscious, Not Breathing In Hyde Park DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man was found unconscious and not breathing in a vehicle in Hyde Park earlier this week, Hyde Park Police said Saturday. Officers Sean Phillips, Jackie Tucker, and Tom Mirabella responded to the incident involving a medical emergency in a vehicle at a location that was not released by police. The officers started CPR and utilized an AED to administer several shocks to the man, who regained a heartbeat and began breathing again, police said. He was then transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Motorist Extricated After One-Car Crash In Pound Ridge POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Emergency responders extricated a motorist after an overnight crash in Pound Ridge, authorities said. The one-car crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Lane and Pound Ridge Road, according to the Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department. Man's Body Found In Woods In Southeast PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man’s body was found Friday in a wooded area in the Town of Southeast, Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reported.
