Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Tivoli Man Charged With Possession Of Crack In Red Hook RED HOOK, N.Y. -- A 40-year-old Tivoli was charged with possession of crack cocaine after a traffic stop on Route 9 in Red Hook, police said. Glenn J. Unson, 40, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. Jan. 5 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as driving while impaired by drugs, according to Red Hook Police. He was processed and released on tickets to appear in court at a later date.

Taconic Parkway Traffic Stop In Milan Results In Weapons Charge A traffic stop for speeding and illegally towing a trailer on the Taconic State Parkway has resulted in a man facing a weapons charge. State Police arrested Thomas F. Swartley of Green Lane, Pa., for criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree on Friday, Jan. 13. After the traffic stop in Milan in northwestern Dutchess, Swartley was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun without a NYS pistol permit, police said. Swartley was arraigned at the Village of Rhinebeck court where he was released on his own recognizance.

Beacon Man Threatens To Use Metal Knuckles During Assault, Police Say A 22-year-old Beacon man is facing charges after he threatened an acquaintance with metal knuckles during an assault in Philipstown, state police said Saturday An investigation revealed that on Friday, Terrence J. Brennan assaulted an acquaintance, causing minor injuries. During the altercation, Brennan threatened the victim with metal knuckles. Brennan has been charged with menacing in the second degree, assault in the third degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. Brennan was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Nelsonville Court on Jan. 25.
