Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Metro-North New Haven Line service is back on or close to schedule as of 4 p.m. Sunday after delays as long as an hour earlier in the afternoon. The delays were due to earlier fire department activity in the vicinity of South Norwalk, Conn., Metro-North said in a 1:24 p.m. announcement. Tappan Man Strikes Woman In Head During Dispute, Police Say  A Tappan man is facing charges after allegedly striking a woman at a local residence during a dispute on Friday, Orangetown Police said. Donald McBride, 49, has been charged with assault after police say he was involved in an argument with a woman that became physical, with McBride allegedly "striking the female about the head, causing an injury," Orangetown Police stated. After being processed at Orangetown Police Headquarters, McBride was released and is due back in Orangetown Justice Court on Feb. 7.
