Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Three Arrested In Lewisboro Elementary School Graffiti Incident LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Three juvenile subjects have been arrested following a report of graffiti, including a swastika, at the former Lewisboro Elementary School grounds Graffiti that includes a swastika was discovered on the playground equipment on the elementary school grounds late last month. Freezing Rain Advisory In Effect For Putnam Motorists heading back to work after a long weekend Tuesday will want to keep an eye out for freezing rain. There's a chance of freezing rain for much of the area with a Freezing Rain Advisory in effect for Putnam from 7 a.m. to noon Tuesday and in Dutchess from 7 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday. Days After Emergency Landing, Cuomo Close To Getting $12.5M Helicopter Just days after a state helicopter in which he was a passenger was forced to make an emergency landing, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is close to getting a $12.5 million Sikorsky helicopter, according to multiple reports. Black Ice Will Result In Slippery Driving Conditions In Armonk The National Weather Service is warning area residents of the formation of black ice Sunday evening into Monday morning. Snow has melted and with temperatures expected to fall below freezing across the entire region, the residual moisture will refreeze, the statement said. Metro-North New Haven Line Back On Schedule This story has been updated. Metro-North New Haven Line service is back on or close to schedule as of 4 p.m. Sunday after delays as long as an hour earlier in the afternoon. The delays were due to earlier fire department activity in the vicinity of South Norwalk, Conn., Metro-North said in a 1:24 p.m. announcement. Delays went from up to 60 minutes to about 25 to 30 minutes around 3 p.m., before returning to regular schedule. Fishkill Man In Stolen Pickup Violated Protection Order, Police Say DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 48-year-old Fishkill man who violated an order of protection was apprehended in a stolen pickup truck, state police said. Tappan Man Strikes Woman In Head During Dispute, Police Say A Tappan man is facing charges after allegedly striking a woman at a local residence during a dispute on Friday, Orangetown Police said. Donald McBride, 49, has been charged with assault after police say he was involved in an argument with a woman that became physical, with McBride allegedly "striking the female about the head, causing an injury," Orangetown Police stated.
