Bridge Demolition To Close Part Of Busy Hudson Valley Intersection: Here's When A busy Hudson Valley intersection is set to be affected by an upcoming bridge demolition, officials announced.  A Putnam County bridge located at the intersection of Peekskill Hollow Road (Route 21) and Oscawana Lake Road in the town of Putnam Valley will close on Monday, April 1 to allow for crews to perform a demolition, town officials announced. The closure will begin early in the morning and will end in the afternoon. No specific times were given.  A detour will be put in place during the demolition, officials added.

Blaze Damages Over 100-Year-Old Home In Croton-On-Hudson A Northern Westchester residence more than a century old was damaged by a blaze that began in its chimney, firefighters said. The fire began on Friday, March 22 just before 7 p.m. at a residence in Croton-on-Hudson on Teatown Road, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department.  Arriving fire crews found an active blaze in one of the flues in the home's chimney between the second floor and attic.
