Suspect's Empty Car Found In New Castle After High-Speed Pursuit Authorities are investigating after finding an empty car in Northern Westchester that had been involved in a high-speed pursuit on a busy highway, police said. The chase began on Interstate 684 in Westchester near mile marker 15 on Tuesday, March 26 just before 1 a.m., when the suspect vehicle fled after police tried stopping it for speeding, according to Trooper AJ Hicks from the New York State Police.
