Around 6 a.m., Linden police responded to a shooting at Maximum Quality Foods at 2251 Tremley Point Road, officers said in a release. The victim was shot multiple times, police said. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, police said. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival, officers said. The incident is under investigation, police said.
