Truck Crashes Into Car On Route 46: State Police A passenger vehicle crashed into a truck on Route 46 in Warren County on the early morning of Friday, March 15, authorities said. At 4:22 a.m., a tractor trailer was making a right turn from a parking lot onto Route 46 West in Knowlton Township when it crossed over the solid lines and crashed into the front of a car traveling eastbound, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. There were minor injuries, McNair said. The crash remains under investigation, McNair said.

Man Gets 25 Years For Sexually Assaulting 11-Year-Old: Hunterdon County Prosecutor A 43-year-old High Bridge man was recently sentenced to 25 years in state prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl, authorities said. An investigation into Jose Jarquin-Jarquin by the High Bridge Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office began after the girl disclosed the sexual assaults to friends and a school counselor, leading to his arrest, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said.  Jarquin-Jarquin had been found guilty of multiple counts of sexual assault last October, Robeson said.

Man Accused Of Striking Victim In Head With Bottle Wanted By Newark PD (Photo) A man is at large after he struck a person in the head with a bottle in Newark on Saturday, March 9. The incident occurred at 3 a.m. on the 100 block of Van Buren Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said.  Surveillance video shows the man getting into a fight with the victim, throwing him to the ground and then striking him with the bottle, Fragé said.
