She knows everyone's name and order and greets patrons with a smile and a greeting. But Urmatan is currently in the fight for his life. Diagnosed with advanced breast cancer, Urmatan, recently finished chemotherapy and will have a double mastectomy on Thursday, Feb. 15. Urmatan does not have health insurance. One Killed In Irvington Double Shooting: Prosecutors One person was killed and two people were wounded in a shooting in Irvington on Sunday, Feb. 11, authorities said. At 9:22 p.m. Irvington police responded to a shooting on the 200 block of Isabella Avenue and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds and one person with an injured leg, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers said. Man Sold More Than 882 Meth Pills To Investigators: Warren County Prosecutors A 32-year-old New York man was arrested and charged with distributing methamphetamine on Wednesday, Feb. 7, following an investigation by Warren County Prosecutors and New Jersey State Police, authorities said. First Responders Rally For Hunterdon County Police Officer Diagnosed With ALS A longtime first responder in Hunterdon County is in the fight for his life. Peter Serrone, 49, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, (ALS) in Dec. 2023, following a longtime career as a first responder, serving as a volunteer firefighter, EMT and police officer, first in Raritan Township and later Readington Township, where he achieved a rank the corporal.
