Fleeing DUI Motorcyclist Gets Stuck In Central PA Railroad Tracks, Authorities Say A drunken motorcyclist from North Carolina in town for a car show became stuck in railroad tracks while trying to flee from police who stopped him in Central Pennsylvania, authorities said. Carlisle police stopped Phillip Westmoreland, 34, while operating his Honda Grom on the 800 block of W High Street just before the N Orange Street overpass around 2:25 a.m. on Oct. 2, local authorities said. PA Mom Tried Covering For Daughter Who Led Police Pursuit, Authorities Say A Pennsylvania mom took the blame for her daughter who led a brief police pursuit to avoid having her arrested, authorities said. A Susquehanna police officer tried stopping a vehicle when the driver lost control of the vehicle while fleeing, and then took off running on foot around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 25, local authorities said. The driver was not immediately located, but her mom was identified as Tammy Jones and claimed to have been driving the vehicle "to avoid having her daughter arrested," police said.  Jones was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension, authorities said.

The victim told authorities that John R. Logan choked her around the neck, head butted her and the spat in her face on the 100 block of N Third Street around 4:35 p.m., Oxford police said. Ex-Con Chucks Cold Chicken At Victim's Head In PA Walmart, Police Say A 20-year-old woman with a criminal record threw a cold chicken at another woman's head inside of a Pennsylvania Walmart, state police say. Tahonee Fickes tossed the meat at the 52-year-old victim inside of a a Guilford Township Walmart, hitting the back of the woman's head on Oct. 7, State Police say. It was unclear what prompted the attack. Fickes was charged with harassment, court documents show. Last year, Fickes was convicted for passing a forged check, and was arrested for child endangerment last month, SmokingGun.com reports. She was also arrested for criminal mischief in 2020.
