Pedestrian Struck By Morris & Essex Line Train In Summit A pedestrian was struck and injured by a train Thursday afternoon in Summit, officials said. The pedestrian was struck by NJ Transit's Morris & Essex line train 6625 near the Summit Station around 12:45 p.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said. The victim's age and extent of injuries were unknown. None of the approximately 60 passengers and crew members on the train were injured. Remains Found In California Desert ID'd As NJ's Lauren Cho Remains found in a California desert were confirmed to be those of missing New Jersey resident Lauren "El" Cho, the San Bernardino County Coroner's office said Thursday. The 30-year-old body piercing apprentice went missing after walking away from the Airbnb where she was staying with friends on June 28. Cho's remains were found in "the rugged terrain of the open desert of Yucca Valley" on Oct. 8, the San Bernardino Sheriff's Office said Thursday. Authorities ID Man Killed By Train In Trenton Officials have identified the man who was struck and killed by a train in Trenton over the weekend. Tyrie D Lee, 41, of Trenton, was struck by a River Line light rail train at the South Broad Street crossing at 2:52 p.m. Saturday, NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said. Bus Driver Seriously Injured In Winslow Township Crash An NJ Transit bus driver had to be rescued after his vehicle rear-ended a disabled bus early Thursday morning, officials said. Six passengers were on the 554 line bus from Lindenwold to Atlantic when it rear-ended a disabled NJ Transit bus on the White Horse Pike around 6:15 a.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said. Science Park High School received one threat Wednesday afternoon and another was being reported (but unconfirmed) Thursday morning. A student at the Norfolk Street school apparently received a bomb threat from an unknown person around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, bringing police to the school. Jekai Reid- John, 27, of Norristown, PA followed Sree Aravapalli, to his home in Plainsboro and then shot him dead around 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 26, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Fred Tavener said. Surveillance tapes show Eric Campbell and Austin Craig, both 28 of Lower Township, removing the bikes from an area of Decatur Street on Oct. 8, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said. Craig and Campbell are both police officers in Lower Township, authorities said. Campbell and Craig were both issued a summons for theft, a crime of the fourth degree.
