Hibachi Grill Chef Hospitalized In Jersey City Assault, Reports Say The chef at a Jersey City hibachi restaurant was hospitalized with serious injuries after being assaulted Sunday evening, developing police reports say. The assault at the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet at the Hudson Mall apparently caused the chef to hit his head on a countertop around 7 p.m., according to initial reports and RLS Media. He was apparently rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in serious condition. Officials did not immediately return Daily Voice's information request Sunday evening.

Ronald Stansbury, 52, was found with multiple gunshot wounds around 7:15 a.m. behind 2240 Edgmont Ave., Police Capt. James Chubb said. Man Killed By Train In Trenton A man was struck and killed by New Jersey Transit train Saturday afternoon in Trenton, authorities said. The River Line light rail train that left the Waterfront Entertainment Center in Camden at 1:44 p.m., struck the pedestrian at the S Broad Street crossing at 2:52 p.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said. None of the 30 passengers nor the operator were injured. Service was suspended between Trenton and Bordentown with bus service provided as of 5 p.m. The victim was not identified and NJT police were investigating.
