Federal Agent Hits Woman On Jersey City's Route 139, Report Says A woman crossing State Highway in Jersey City was struck by a federal agent Friday morning, news reports say. The woman was walking along the upper level of Route 139 at Baldwin Avenue when she was struck on the eastbound side around 8:10 a.m., NJ Advance Media says. She apparently suffered a serious head injury. The driver was a federal agent but it was not clear if he was on-duty at the time of the crash.
