Arrest Made In Killing Of New Brunswick's Cedric Paige A 38-year-old man has been charged in the death of Cedric Paige, a beloved New Brunswick man shot earlier this week, authorities said. Bergen Man Busted With Cocaine, Handgun In Hudson, Prosecutor Says A Bergen County man was nabbed with nearly half a pound of cocaine and a handgun following a three-week investigation, authorities in Hudson County said. Detectives initiated an investigative stop of George Suarez, 36, of Lodi, near 29th Street and Summit Avenue in Union City, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Woman Sexually Assaulted By Armed Man In D&R Canal State Park, Authorities Say Authorities have released a composite sketch of a weapon-wielding suspect sought in the sexual assault of a woman walking in Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park on Tuesday. Worker Electrocuted In Jersey City A worker was electrocuted Wednesday morning in Jersey City, officials confirmed. The 29-year-old man was operating a lift machine that struck a power line at 20 St. Pauls Ave., City Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said. He suffered injuries to his hands and toes and was taken to a local hospital. The incident was reported around 9 a.m. OSHA was notified and will be investigating, Wallace-Scalcione said. The contractor provided proof of permits for construction, but was issued a summons for sidewalk closure without a permit and a summons for no signage for the sidewalk closure.
