Prosecutor: Gunman Surrenders In Franklin Township Shooting That Injured New Brunswick Man A 45-year-old Somerset County man surrendered to authorities on attempted murder and weapons charges in connection with a May 31 shooting, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office announced Tuesday. Johnny Totten, of Somerset, was charged in the incident that left a New Brunswick man injured near Hamilton Street in Franklin Township, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said. Massive Search Under Way For Central PA Woman Missing For Days A massive search was under way Tuesday morning for a Central Pennsylvania woman missing since July 3. Sierra Odea Shirley walked away from her home on S. Hill Street in Shrewsbury, according to the Southern York Regional Police Department. The 25-year-old woman has long dirty blonde hair and was last seen wearing a red and black long sleeve flannel shirt, black leggings and tan flip flops. Shirley may have gone to Baltimore City, Park Heights or somewhere in the Penn North area. Anyone with information is urged to call Southern York County Regional Police Department at (717)235-3944.

Man Holding GF Hostage Arrested After Tense Hudson County Pursuit Police arrested a man holding his girlfriend hostage after tracking his vehicle down in Bayonne during a tense pursuit that began in Secaucus Monday, authorities said. Police responded to the 300 block of Clarendon Street on reports of a victim being held against her will in a basement apartment around 3:15 p.m., Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. The crowds gathered outside of Edward Cagney Mathews' condo in the Essex Place development for hours, three days after the 45-year-old resident was charged with harassment and biased intimidation. Rahway Brothers Killed In Irvington Homicide Authorities are investigating a double homicide in Irvington. Malik A. McCallister, 38, and Tarik R. Barnes, 42, lived together in Rahway and were both shot July 4 on Montrose Terrace around midnight, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers said. .McCallister was pronounced dead at Beth Israel at 12:30 a.m. and Barnes was pronounced dead at 2:09 a.m. at University Hospital Monday. Man Attacks Brother With Knife In York County, Authorities Say A 33-year-old man attacked his brother with a knife in York County Sunday afternoon, authorities said. Newberry police officers responding to a house on the 600 block of Hill Point Drive in Goldsboro Borough were told by a woman that her 30-year-old husband was attacked by his brother, Newberry Township police said. The victim suffered injuries to his hand and face, police said. The suspect, Jeffrey S. Kelly, was charged with aggravated assault and other related offenses, and transported to York County Central Booking pending arraignment.
