He first learned how as a kid, when he moved to Brooklyn from the Dominican Republic and spent time visiting his dad's friend's barbershop in Brooklyn. By the time he was in middle school, Delgado was giving shape-ups to his friends. And when he moved to New Jersey, he began working at Top Cutz in Hasbrouck Heights. Serious Crash Shuts Route 19 In Paterson A serious and possibly deadly crash closed a portion of Route 19 in Paterson Saturday afternoon. The county's fatal accident investigation team was called to the southbound side of the highway at Grand Street at approximately 2:20 p.m. The highway was expected to be closed for several hours.

Authorities ID Driver Killed In I-280 Crash A 67-year-old Newark man died on a crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 280. A Chrysler passenger car was heading east when it was struck by a westbound Chevy Silverado near mile post 13.5 in Newark around 4 a.m., NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said. A Nissan Juke -- traveling behind the Chrysler -- struck the Chrysler and then the front of the Chevy struck the Nissan, Marchan said. The Chrysler and Nissan struck the right concrete curb. At Least 3 Victims Reported In Howell Stabbing At least three people were stabbed in Howell overnight, police reports say. The incident reportedly occurred at a home on the 200 block of Alexander Street around 12:15 a.m. Unconfirmed reports say two people were in custody. Injuries were unknown. Motorcyclist Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Route 1&9 A motorcyclist died in a wrong-way crash on Route 1&9 in Elizabeth early Saturday morning. The crash occurred on the northbound side near the Renaissance Hotel around 3:15 a.m. The motorcyclist apparently struck a car head-on and was ejected from his bike.

The crash occurred on Perrineville Road behind Six Flags around 8:15 p.m., initial reports say. 1 Injured, Somerville Man Dead In Newark Shooting A 31-year-old Somerville man was killed and a 28-year-old man injured in a Newark shooting early Friday morning. The shooting occurred on the 200 block of Washington Street. Christopher Williams was rushed to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:13 a.m., Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Newark Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara said. The 28-year-old man survived. No arrests had been made as of Friday. The investigation is active and ongoing.
