Philadelphia Man Arrested In Triple Norristown Shooting, Police Say
A 38-year-old Philadelphia man was in custody in connection with a triple shooting that left two women hospitalized Monday night in Norristown, authorities said. Arriving officers found two women with multiple gunshot wounds in the 500 block of Green Street around 11:10 p.m. Norristown police said. The women were airlifted to Penn Presbyterian Hospital and are listed in stable condition, police said. PA Bicyclist Dies After Hitting Parked Car
A Schuylkill County bicyclist died nearly two weeks after he hit a parked car last month, authorities announced. John Rich Jr. was involved in the crash on Thursday, May 20 in Pottsville, and died at Lehigh Valley Hospital on Monday, the Lehigh County coroner's office. Rich died of injuries suffered in the crash. He was 69 years old.

TJ Pope Of Manville Dies, 32
Thomas Justin "TJ" Pope of Manville died on Wednesday, May 26. He was 32 years old. Born in Plainfield, TJ was a lifelong resident of Manville. His obituary remembers him for his passions: Video games, anime, gardening, playing Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and "almost anything associated with dragons and swords." TJ was a "dedicated" team member at PetSmart in Bridgewater, where he received the PetSmart Associate Appreciation certificate -- of which he was very proud. Three people were arrested in a SWAT standoff in which a woman was held captive, a man was pistol whipped and shots were fired, authorities in Harrisburg said. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Walnut Street on reports of shots fired around 10:20 a.m. Sunday, but police could not determine if a shooting had in fact occurred. Around 11 a.m., a woman told county dispatch she was being held captive by a man at a lounge on the 2300 block of Walnut Street, police said. DUI PA Driver Who Struck Another Vehicle Bites Arresting Officer, Police Say
A 47-year-old Lancaster County man who was drunk when he hit another vehicle tried biting an officer attempting to place him in handcuffs, authorities said. New Holland police were dispatched to the Ashlea Gardens complex on May 30 after a woman called saying a man later identified as Gerald Douglas Kulp trying to park next to her hit her car, police said in a news release. One person died in a fire in Carteret Monday. Crews responded to a mobile home on the 1500 block of Roosevelt Avenue around 3 p.m., where a mobile home trailer had caught fire, officials said. The blaze was placed under control in approximately one hour. No further information was provided.

A purported member of a the Pagan's Motorcycle Club was charged with attempted murder after breaking into a home and firing a gun Saturday night in South Jersey. Michael F. A female driver died in a fiery crash at a Bucks County nursing home Monday morning, fire officials said. The woman was trapped inside of the vehicle that had struck the stone porch area of the Langhorne Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center on Manor Avenue when Langhorne Middletown Fire Chief Frank Farry arrived at the scene just after 8 a.m., he said. Crews In Lansdale Knock Down Memorial Day House Fire
Crews knocked down a fire that broke out at a Lansdale home early Monday morning. Firefighters responded to a home at W. Mt Vernon and Broad streets just before 6 a.m., the Fairmount Fire Company said. The blaze was under control in 20 minutes. The Fire Department of Montgomery Township, North Penn Volunteer Fire Company and Worcester Volunteer Fire Department responded.
