Steve Marchel and Robin Kramer have recently opened Betty's Seafood Shack in Margate. The restaurant pays homage to Steve's beloved Portuguese Water Dog, Betty, who died in 2018. SWAT Standoff: Drunken Man Barricades Himself In Philadelphia Basement With Gun (Developing) A drunken man armed with a shotgun barricaded himself in the basement of a home brought a large police presence to the scene in Philadelphia Sunday, June 4. The man reportedly threatened an elderly woman around 4 p.m. on the 15100 block of Milford Street and then refused to come outside, city police said. A barricade was declared just after 4:05 p.m. after the victim was able to escape. The scene was active as of 4:40 p.m.

NJ Residents Can Swim For Free On Weekends At Weehawken's $10.5M Pool Until June 23 New Jersey residents have two more weekends to swim for free at Weehawken's brand-new pool complex. Located on Port Imperial Boulevard, the $10.5 million complex opened last August, making this summer its first full season. Registration for summer passes will open Friday, June 9, due to site updates and payment processing, its website says. The passes will be implemented on June 23.
