Teen Boy Stabbed Dead In Delco Identified Support was surging Sunday, April 23 for the family of the 15-year-old boy stabbed to death over the weekend in Delaware County. Michael Garr, of Drexel Hill, has been identified as the victim of the Friday night, April 21 stabbing on the 200 block of Bridge Street in Upper Darby. Man Killed By SEPTA Train In Philadelphia A man was struck and killed by a SEPTA train early Sunday, April 23 in Philadelphia, authorities said. The accident happened around 5 a.m. on the northbound side of the subway tracks of the Snyder Station on the Broad Street Line, a SEPTA spokeswoman said. Police, fire, and emergency medical crews immediately responded. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

70 Dogs Have One Day To Be Moved Out Of Philly Shelter Ravaged By Canine Flu Nearly 70 dogs at ACCT Philly are in need of homes — ASAP. The shelter is working to clear out after a bout of canine flu began spreading through the Hunting Park facility earlier this month. NJ Pizzeria Closing After Owner's Death A South Jersey pizzeria in business more than 50 years will be closing its doors following the death of its owner. Rosario's Pizza in Bordentown made the announcement on Saturday, April 1. Wednesday, April 19 was its last day in business. Sal Ruggeri, the Route 130 shop's most recent owner, began working there in 1972, just after meeting the love of his life in Germany, according to his obituary. Teen Boy Stabbed Dead In Delco, $5K Reward Offered A $5,000 reward is being offered in the stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy in Delaware County Friday, April 21. The Drexel Hill boy was stabbed on the 200 block of Bridge Street at approximately 9:30 p.m., Upper Darby police said. Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 27 has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for this senseless act of violence. Video Captures Thief's Plunge From 2nd Floor Of MontCo Mall A video going viral online shows an Apple store thief's plunge from the second floor of a Montgomery County mall, that — according to 6abc — left him with a broken tailbone and pelvis. Abdi Wasuge, of Tempe, AZ, leapt off the second level of the Willow Grove Park Mall on Thursday, April 13, and implied he had a gun and threatened to use it, Abington police said. Man Shot Dead In Allentown A man was shot and killed in a Friday night, April 21 incident in Allentown, authorities said. The man, whose name is not yet being released, was killed around 10:50 p.m. on the 1100 block of Maple Street, and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Lehigh County coroner. In addition to the coroner's office, this death is also being investigated by the Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, with assistance from the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office.

Police ID Driver Killed In Fairfax County Crash As 37-Year-Old Woman A 37-year-old woman attempting an abrupt U-turn died when she was struck by another car in Fairfax County on Friday, April 21, authorities said. Christina Hamilton was in a 2018 Honda Civic, heading east on Arlington Boulevard, when she tried to make the turn near Patrick Henry Drive and was struck by a Honda Accord around 1:10 a.m. in Falls Church, county police said. Shooting Shuts Wawa In Elizabeth (Photos) A Wawa store in Elizabeth was closed for a shooting investigation Saturday, April 22. A man was shot in the knee after a fight broke out inside of the Spring Street store around 4:45 a.m., Elizabeth police spokeswoman Ruby Contreras said. He was uncooperative but stable at University Hospital, Contreras said. There were no other victims. The suspect fled and store was closed for investigation.
