A South Jersey high school carnival has been cut short by a series of fights, arrests, and an assault on a police officer. MD Gunman Danced With Gun Used In Rapper's Killing On Instagram: Officials
A Maryland man recently convicted of killing a rapper in front of his own home was captured dancing with the gun he used in the slaying on social media. Mario Samm, 22, of Frederick, on Friday, April 14 was found guilty of second-degree murder of 25-year-old Jahandar Darvish, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy said. 'I'm So High,' Man On Meth Tells Police In Stafford
Police didn't have to do much of their own investigating while responding to reports of a suspicious person in Stafford. The man moving erratically and slurring his words on Heartfields Lane around 6 p.m. Thursday, April 13 not only told deputies he had recently taken meth, but that he was "so high" he wasn't sure what brought him to the location, according to a news release from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. The suspect was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substances. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Mom Left 5-Year-Old Kids Alone In Hotel Room With Open Alcohol Bottles, PWC Police Say
A 36-year-old woman was arrested on child neglect charges after police said she left her two 5-year-old children alone in a Virginia hotel room while she drank. A 5-year-old boy was found on the second floor of the Red Roof Inn in Dumfries around 2:40 a.m. Friday, April 14, Prince William County police said. Police have identified a 16-year-old boy who they say played a role in the killing of a Fredericksburg High School student. Lorenzo A Brooks acted along with Aaron Randolph Carter, 19, in the killing of 18-year-old Jasiah Smith on Sunday, March 26, Fredericksburg police said. The mother of the 6-year-old Virginia boy who shot his first grade teacher has surrendered to authorities, but was released after posting $5,000 bond. Deja Taylor, 25, turned herself in Thursday April 13, to the Newport News City Jail in connection with the Jan. 6 shooting at Richneck Elementary School, that left Abigail Zwerner seriously injured. 8-Year-Old Boy Shot Dead In East Stroudsburg: Police
An 8-year-old boy was shot and killed earlier this month in East Stroudsburg, authorities announced. The unidentified child was shot around 5:45 p.m. on the 100 block of Mill Creek Road, on Monday, April 3, according to Lehigh Valley Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. His death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy. In addition to the coroner's office, this death is being investigated by the Stroud Area Regional Police Department and the Monroe County District Attorney's Office.

'I Shot Myself': Teen Suffers Unfortunate Accident Running From Cops In Hillside
"I shot myself," is what a 16-year-old boy found lying on the ground on Highland Avenue in Hillside told authorities he was running from Thursday night, April 13, police said.
