Woman Surrenders After 36-Hour Standoff; Barricade Linked To Missing MD Woman Case A driver peacefully surrendered to authorities in Fairfax County around midnight on Thursday, March 30, ending a nearly 36-hour standoff on Richmond Highway. Russia Detains NJ Soccer Player, WSJ Reporter Evan Gershkovich On Espionage Charges Wall Street Journal reporter and 31-year-old New Jersey native Evan Gershkovich has been detained by Russian security agents on espionage charges, according to various news reports. Dump Truck Driver Killed In Route 78 Crash Lost Mom 25 Days Earlier, Loved Ones Say A 54-year-old dump truck driver killed in a crash on Route 78 had been mourning the loss of his mom, loved ones say. Kevin A. Cougle, of Rockaway, died when his truck and other vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Exit 49B in Springfield around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, New Jersey State Police said. Toms River Man Found Dead In Water: Prosecutor The body of a Toms River man reported missing was found in a body of water on Thursday, March 28, authorities said.
