Missing Mom Found Dead In Shallow Grave In Kearny: Prosecutor UPDATE: Arrests In Luz Hernandez Case: One Suspect Captured In Miami, 2nd Remains At Large A 33-year-old Jersey City woman reported missing Monday, Feb. 6 has been found dead, authorities said. Luz Hernandez's body was found in "what appeared to be a shallow grave" in the area of Central Avenue and Third Street in Kearny, around 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Morristown's Imani Glover Found The Morris County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed Wednesday morning, Feb. 8 that Imani Glover has been found safe. The prosecutor's office in a news release said only that the 25-year-old woman had been "located." Glover, who frequents Newark, had been missing since Sunday, Jan. 8. She had last been seen Jan. 4 inside Jimmy Jazz Shoe Store, located at 239 West 125th Street, in New York City. This is a developing story. Check back for more.

Two Massive Fires Erupt In Hudson County Two massive fires broke out Wednesday, Feb. 8 in Hudson County. The first was five alarms, and erupted in one of the shops on Bergenline Avenue sometime after 4:15 a.m. in West New York between 61st and 62nd streets. A Carvel ice cream shop, BBQ joint, and smoke shop were among the businesses impacted, abc7 says. Then, in Union City, around 9 a.m., another multi-alarm blaze brought mutual aid to the scene. Body Found In Kearny Authorities are investigating after a body was found in Kearny. The remains were found sometime Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 6, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Detectives descended on Central Avenue and Third Street for an investigation. No further information was provided.

Woman Wakes Up To Find Somerset Man Sexually Assaulting Her: Prosecutor A 27-year-old Somerset man has been arrested for a sexual assault that happened in June 2022, authorities said. The woman told police she had been drinking alcohol at a Franklin Township home but woke up in a bedroom to find Antonio Galindo-Salazar on top of her on June 19, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. Popular Chicken Restaurant Opens In Shuttered Marlton Kmart A wildly popular Jersey Shore chicken joint has expanded its footprint with a second location. Chicken or the Egg, commonly called simply "Chegg," has opened its Marlton location in the space formerly occupied by Kmart at Renaissance Square on Route 70.
