Woman Stabbed Multiple Times By Group In Jersey City Home Invasion: Police
A 34-year-old woman was found with multiple stab wounds after a group of people barged into her Jersey City apartment and attacked her Monday, Sept. 12, police said. Officers found the woman bleeding heavily with gashes on her left arm, left leg, and neck around 10:45 p.m. at 4 Orient Ave., a city spokeswoman told Daily Voice. She was transported to the local hospital where she is in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

Ithaca College Student From NJ, 20, Dies In Weekend Crash
A 20-year-old Ithaca College student from New Jersey died in a crash over the weekend, authorities said. Shea T. Colbert, of Bridgewater, was heading southeast on Coddington Road in Ithaca, when he veered off the road, striking multiple trees Saturday, Sept. 10, New York State Police said. A dad is facing charges of child endangerment after shoving one of his children to the ground at a Secaucus hotel, authorities said. Double Shooting Probed In Somerset County
Two victims were expected to survive after a weekend shooting at a Somerset County home, authorities said. Both male victims were shot at a home on North Weiss Street in Manville around 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said. One victim was found on South Main Street and the other at the North Weiss Street home where the first victim said he had been shot, McDonald said.
