4-Year-Old Boy On Bicycle Critical After Being Struck By Car In Linden A 4-year-old boy was critically injured after he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle with his dad in Linden on Thursday, Sept. 15, authorities said. The boy was with his 32-year-old dad when they were hit by a vehicle at Roselle Street across from E. St. George Avenue, toward Chestnut Street around 7:25 a.m., police said.  The boy was taken to Newark University Hospital where he was in critical condition. His father suffered minor injuries. Sykirrah Kirkland stabbed Omar Boatwright, 29, who was found with injuries at 67 Lexington Ave., around 8:05 the morning of Saturday, Feb. 19, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Ocean County College Jumper Airlifted: Police A female was airlifted to the hospital after leaping from a building on the Ocean County College campus Wednesday, Sept. 14, authorities said. Police responding to the five-story Kean Gateway Building campus found the victim, who had jumped from the roof around 12:25 p.m., Toms River police said. The female was alert and conscious and was flown to Jersey Shore Medical University for treatment of her injuries. Ocean County Sheriff’s officers and Silverton First Aid Squad also assisted at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
