Whitesell, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead just before 9:20 p.m., authorities said. The manner of death was accidental.

Troy David Walter, 26, of Sykesville, had last been seen Thursday, Sept. 15, near 15600 block of Old Frederick Road in Woodbine by a coworker around 10:15 a.m., Howard County police said.
