FaceTime Fugitive: Motel Murder Suspect Surrenders During I-95 Pursuit Authorities got a murder suspect to surrender over FaceTime as he led a police pursuit on Interstate 95 in Virginia, they said. George Pearson III, 44, of Stafford, shot the victim in his chest at a Red Roof Inn on Warrenton Road around 8:15 a.m. June 19, then fled the scene in a silver Toyota Tacoma, still armed with a handgun, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. Camden Dad Killed In Shooting A 37-year-old dad was killed in a Camden shooting over the weekend, authorities said. Charles Copling, III was found with gunshot wounds just before midnight on the 1200 block of Decatur Street Friday, June 17, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said. Officers transported him to Cooper University Hospital, where he died at approximately 4 p.m. Social media shows Copling had two sons: "My life," he captioned a photo of them. Motorcyclist Dies In Crash With Fallen Tree In Schuylkill County A 66-year-old motorcyclist died when he struck a fallen tree on State Route 443 in Schuylkill County over the weekend, authorities said. The eastbound motorcyclist struck the large, rotted tree that had fallen across both lanes around 12:30 a.m. in East Brunswick Township Saturday, June 18, Pennsylvania State Police said. The coroner responded and transported the unnamed victim.

Young Pennsylvania Men Found Dead In Overturned Car In Maryland Two young men from Pennsylvania were killed when their car overturned in Carroll County, MD early Sunday, June 19, authorities said. Kyler Jace Robinson, 20, was behind the wheel and Wesley Owen Singh, 19, was in the passenger's seat when police found the 2022 Hyundai Kona upside-down on Manchester Road just before 4 a.m., State Police said. First responders removed the pair, who were pronounced dead at the scene.

Maryland Baseball Player Jonah Baney Dies In Crash, Hearts Shatter Hearts shattered across Baltimore County as hundreds of people mourned the sudden death of Jonah Baney, who died in a car crash, those who knew him said. Baney, 19, lived in Arbutus and graduated from Lansdowne High School in 2020. He was playing baseball for Community College of Baltimore County and had plans to play for Salisbury University next year, according to his obituary.
