Man Struck, Killed By Train In Secaucus A man was struck and killed by a train Sunday, April 10 in Secaucus. Pascack Valley Line train 2129 struck the male just west of the Secaucus station at 9:38 p.m., NJ Transit's Jim Smith said. The train left Hoboken at 9:21 p.m., and was set to arrive in Spring Valley, NY at 10:34 p.m. No injuries to the 50 customers or crew members were reported. NJ Transit police were investigating.

Police ID Man Killed In Triple Bloomfield Shooting Authorities have identified the victim who died in a shooting that left two others injured in Bloomfield. Christian Lisaldes Perez, 23, of Newark, was shot on First Avenue in and pronounced dead at the scene just before 3:20 p.m. Sunday, April 10, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Teen Football Player Killed Riding Bike In South Jersey A 17-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car Saturday, April 9 in South Jersey, according to State Police. Christopher Jambor, of Elmer, was struck by a Nissan passenger car while riding north in the southbound shoulder of County Road 621 just before 5:45 p.m. in Pittsgrove, Sgt. Philip Curry said. Baumgart's Shutters North Jersey Location After 34 Years And then there were two. Baumgart's has closed yet another location, leaving only two standing. The Chinese-American restaurant chain's latest location to shutter is on East Palisade Avenue in Englewood, which opened in 1988. According to BoozyBurbs, its last day in business will be April 17. Baumgart's previously had more locations in Livingston in Nayack, but with the latest closing, the only two left are in Edgewater and Ridgewood.
