Details Released In Anne Arundel Crash That Left Rear-Ended Driver Seriously Injured A 77-year-old driver was seriously injured after being rear-ended and sent into a telephone pole an Anne Arundel County crash Friday, April 16, authorities said. The man was behind the wheel of Honda heading north on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Ferndale, when he was rear-ended by a 41-year-old driver in a 2019 Volkswagen GTI around 6:05 p.m., county police said. The Honda left the road and struck a telephone pole while the Volkswagen crossed over the southbound lanes and came to rest on an embankment. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to the R. Pedestrian Killed On NJ Turnpike A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on the NJ Turnpike in Mercer County Saturday, April 16, authorities said. The crash occurred on the northbound side of the highway in the outer roadway at milepost 68.4 in East Windsor around 12:25 p.m., New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez said. The driver of the car that struck the victim remained on scene and was not injured while the pedestrian was pronounced dead, Goez said. The right two lanes were closed for accident investigation.

Vincent Yant, 31, failed to update his Megan's Law information after being released from prison on March 7, State Police in Troop K said. Shooting-Pursuit Injures PA State Trooper On I-76 Details have been released in a shooting-pursuit on Interstate 76 in Lancaster County that hospitalized a Pennsylvania State Trooper on Friday, April 15. Two troopers pulled over two SUVs, one black and one white, around 11:35 p.m. near mile maker 273.2 east in Elizabeth Township, Trooper Kevin Kochka said. Former Noches De Colombia Owner Brings New Restaurant To Bergen's Dining Scene: Report The former owner of popular North Jersey restaurant chain Noches de Colombia is bringing a new concept to the area. Colombia Kaliente, helmed by Sebastian Colorado, is expected to open this summer in Englewood, NorthJersey.com reports. Transgender Inmate Impregnates 2 Prisoners At Edna Mahan: Report Two prisoners at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility are pregnant with the babies of a transgender inmate whom they had consensual sexual relations with, NJ Advance Media reports. Elizabeth Man Tried Killing Woman With Car After Fender Bender: Prosecutor A 56-year-old man was charged with attempted murder after he ran over a woman with his SUV following a minor crash in Elizabeth, authorities said.
