Union City Man Shared Child Porn On Social Media: Prosecutor A Union City man was arrested on child porn charges, authorities said. An investigation was launched into Mario Lopez Esquit, 25, on Dec. 9, when the authorities were notified of a report of possible child exploitation material being shared on social media, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Lopez Esquit was identified as the individual associated with the distribution of the child sex abuse materials via his social media accounts, Suarez said. NJ Fencing Coach Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 2 Teens Dies In Jail: Report A New Jersey fencing coach arrested last October for sexually assaulting two teens and lying under oath died in jail, NJ Advance Media reports citing his attorney. Stephen M. Kovacs, 49, was indicted this month on two counts each of sexual assault endangering the welfare of a child, and false swearing, the outlet says citing attorney Jim Wronko. DCF Notified, Elizabeth Teacher Suspended For 'Inappropriate' Behavior: Officials An Elizabeth Public Schools teacher has been suspended over "inappropriate" behavior, district officials said. The Frank J. Cicarell Academy ninth-grade teacher was removed from the classroom for "issues related to inappropriate behavior" on Tuesday, Jan. 18, Superintendent Olga Hugelmeyer told parents in a letter obtained by Daily Voice. The NJ Division of Child Protection and Permanency was notified, she said. Neither the teacher's identity nor the nature of the incident were disclosed. This is a developing story.
