Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

27-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Dix Hills Crash Police are investigating an overnight crash that left a Long Island man seriously injured. It happened around 3:10 a.m. Saturday, June 4 in Dix Hills. A 27-year-old East Northport man was driving a 2019 Mazda CX-5 northbound on East Deer Park Road, just north of Deforest Road North, when he lost control of the vehicle, Suffolk County Police said. Man Drove Drunk At Nearly Three Times Legal Limit With Two Kids In Vehicle In Area, Police Say A 911 call led to the discovery of a man driving drunk at nearly three times the legal limit with two young children in the vehicle in the area, according to police. Police in Dutchess County responded around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 in Red Hook. That brings the number of cases in the state to five, with all the cases being in New York City so far.
