Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

22-Year-Old Killed In Long Island Expressway Crash In Manorville Police are investigating after a 22-year-old was killed in a crash on the Long Island Expressway overnight. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2 in Manorville. Matthew Lightsey, of Babylon, was operating a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe on westbound side, when he lost control of his vehicle between exits 69 and 68 and struck a bridge abutment and overturned, Suffolk County Police said. Woman Charged After Fatal Hit-Run Long Island Crash A 22-year-old woman has been charged in connection to a hit-and-run crash at a Long Island intersection. The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. Monday, May 23 in Hauppauge. A motor vehicle, believed to be a sedan, was traveling eastbound on Motor Parkway when it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Moreland Road, Suffolk County Police said. 22-Year-Old Woman Killed In I-87 Crash Remembered For Her 'Contagious Laughter' A college student killed in a crash on I-87 is being remembered for her "contagious laughter." Saratoga County resident Katryn R. Fisher, of Ballston Spa, was age 22. The time frame for storm activity on Thursday, June 2 is from the mid-afternoon through the evening.
